Our Four-Year-Old Program prepares children for the transition to Pre-K and Kindergarten by strengthening academic readiness, independence, and confidence while maintaining a joyful, engaging learning environment.
Our Four-Year-Old curriculum follows Letterland and is enriched with Experience Early Learning and Learning Without Tears to strengthen literacy, writing, and math skills.
Students engage in deeper exploration of numbers, early problem-solving, and thematic social studies and science units that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independence. Sight word identification is introduced in March.
Math instruction includes:

- • Comparing and Ordering Numbers and Sets
- • Tally Marks
- • Basic Addition and Subtraction
Monthly Social Studies and Science units dive deeper into exploring the world around us and building early inquiry and questioning skills. Instruction includes:

- • Small-group Instruction
- • Learning Centers and Hands-on Exploration
Progression Reports are sent home in January and May, assessing:
- • Social & Emotional Skills
- • School & Fine Motor Skills
- • Academic Progress

Parents may request an initial letter mastery assessment in August if they believe their child has mastered the alphabet prior to the start of school. Letter mastery includes:- • Identifying Uppercase and Lowercase Letters
- • Knowing Letter Sounds
- • Correct Letter Formation

Potty Training Requirement: Children must be fully potty trained to attend our 3-Year-Old through Pre-K programs.
